In May '02, I had surgery
to fix a sliding knee cap (luxated patella.)

 Stayin inside so I won't run, jump in the pool, hunt geckos, chase birds, dig and generally just be myself really sux. |
 I do get supervised outdoor vistation breaks, and get around pretty well with one landing gear retracted. |

Four days after surgery and startin to itch... |

 ...so I decided to remove the sutures myself. How was I to know amateur surgery is frowned upon. |
 Dr. Kara at the Emergency Vet Clinic gave me this stupid party hat for the next week... |
 ... and replaced the sutures with staples! OY! |
 Hmm, if I aim this thing just right, I think I can get HBO! |

 ... but I'm still stuck with this space helmet! |
 Thankfully, the hair is already growing back to cover the scar, so my beauty won't be totally marred. |
 I'm still restricted on outdoor time and do run on three legs,but have been walking on it since day seven. |
 Just wish that darn chair would get out of the way so I can lounge in the pool again. |
